Dr. Pawan Mahat is an accomplished ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and vitreoretinal surgery. He serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology, Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS), Lalitpur. Dr. Mahat completed his MD in Ophthalmology and further enhanced his expertise with a Vitreoretinal Fellowship at the Nepal Eye Program, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Mahat is affiliated with Sight Savers Eye Clinic and Opticals, where he provides comprehensive eye care services, including advanced surgical interventions. His clinical interests encompass the management of cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal disorders.Dr. Mahat is also actively involved in community eye health initiatives and contributes to ophthalmic research and publications.
